Donating to Sydney Eisteddfod

Why Donate?

In order for Sydney Eisteddfod to keep presenting the McDonald’s Sydney Eisteddfod annually we need your help, every dollar counts. Your support will convey awareness of your commitment to not only helping future generations of talented youngsters but also fostering performing arts in Australia.  As an individual or corporation, there are a number of ways you can support Sydney Eisteddfod.

Donate Now
As a not for profit organisation, Sydney Eisteddfod relies heavily on entry fees, revenue from ticket sales and donations received from individuals and corporate organisations to help fund scholarships and cash prize incentives. No matter how large or small, your donation will help provide a sound base for our continuing future. Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.

Bequests

The power of one's Will
Your legacy can live on through a gift in your will to Sydney Eisteddfod. In this way you will have made a real and tangible contribution in your own lifetime to supporting the Performing Arts.

Your bequest no matter how large or small will make a valued contribution to our fundraising efforts and help keep the hope and dreams alive for so many young Australians.

We understand that your Will is a very personal thing. However, if you would like to learn more about how your Will can support Sydney Eisteddfod, please feel free to contact our office and speak to the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Piroozi Desai-Keane on (02) 9261 8366.

In Memoriam Donations
When a loved one is lost, you instinctively act to honour that person’s memory. In most cases by sending flowers – a beautiful way to express your feelings.

But there is another way – by making a donation to Sydney Eisteddfod – one that will honour their memory forever and at the same time, make a substantial difference to the lives of aspiring young Australian artists.

Relatives who have lost a loved one can contact Sydney Eisteddfod (or ask their funeral directors to do so on their behalf). We will then arrange personalized, memorial gift cards, which can be made available for the family and friends at the funeral.

Acknowledgments and receipts are sent to each individual who makes an 'In Memoriam donation'. The next of kin are also notified regularly with the names of the people that have donated.

A donation in memory of your loved one is more than an expression of your feelings. It is a gift that can help countless individuals every day in any number of ways. The performing arts grooms young people to become the audiences, performers and conductors of our future. Be a part of the community organisation that provides the platform for young people to realize their dreams.
